Bothar was 21 years old just before Christmas. Julianne Maher is TJ Maher's daughter and she , and indeed he, were intimately involved in setting up Bothar, one of Ireland's most successful charity aimed at the developing world. TJ was a giant in Irish farming, one time head of the IFA, and poll topping MEP for the Munster region. Julianne has worked with the Red Cross and these days works for a unique community service, CEART Health Partnership, based in Callan, Co Kilkenny.. Julianne tells us the story of how Bothar started and of life with her father. The show as broadcast is a cut down version of the full talk with Julianne - and you listen to the full chat here- and it's worth it! CEART Health Partnership , The Courthouse, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.
