The Colours of Cooder

American guitarist Ry Cooder is seen sometimes as a bit of a chameleon as his musical career has encompassed a myriad of musical styles.  From Delta blues and American folk tunes, to Indian slide guitar and Cuban boleros - his natural curiosity has been the driving force throughout his life.  On March 15th Ry Cooder will be celebrating his 60th birthday and to mark the occasion, Rachel Blech will explore the remarkable talent of this fascinating and almost reclusive musician.
