Programme 44: December 29th
On tonight's Ceili House, the final programme of the year, we visit Scullys pub in Newmarket, Co. Cork. Music, songs and stories from this traditional music house in Cork .

Programme 43: December 22nd
On tonight's Ceili House there's a seasonal flavour with the current All Ireland senior Ceili Band champions of 2007, The Allow Ceili Band. They've returned to their native Freemount in Co. Cork for a Christmas reunion. It'll be a night of powerful music and song with memories of bygone days and, what the future might hold for the Allow Ceili Band.

Programme 42: December 15th
Ceili House visits Cushens Pub in Tagoat, Co. Wexford where piper Brendan Wyckham has gathered a host of musicians and singers from the surrounding parishes for a lively music and song.

Programme 41: December 8th
LunasaTonight's Ceili House comes from Co.Leitrim where the group Lunasa have spent the last year as artistes in residence, a project sponsoned by the Leitrim Co. Council Arts Office. The ancestral home of legendary Leitrim Flute player, John McKenna is the venue for the programme and features the band and many local musicians and singers.

Programme 40: December 1st
Tonight, we hear some entertaining performances from the Ceannroidhe concert from the Tullamore Court hotel in Tullamore with Vincent Broderick, Siobhan NI Chonarain, Sean Norman, Meatai Joe Sheamuis, Micheal Mac Aogain. and this year's Ard Ullamh at the Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann, Micheal O hEidhin

Programme 39: November 24th
On Ceili House tonight, we feature the Scoil Eigse teachers concert from Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann. Many of the country's leading musicians and singers gather annually at the fleadh to teach the up and coming performers at Scoil Eigse, at the end of which the teachers perform for the pupils.

Programme 38: November 17th
The Tulla Ceili Band celebrated its 60th Anniversary in 2006. The local Comhaltas branch celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year. Ceili House travels to the east Clare town for a night of celebration with the Tulla Ceili Band and a host of All Ireland Champions from the locality. Paddy Canny, Vincent Griffen, Mary McNamara, Seamus Connolly, Micheal O Rourke and Martin Hayes all perform on the night.

Programme 37: November 10th
Tonight's Ceili House features part two of this year's All Ireland Ceili Band finals from Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann in Tullamore and the new winners will be crowned

Programme 36: November 3rd
Over the next two weeks Ceili House features the All Ireland Ceili Band finals, recorded at Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann in Tullamore, Co. Offaly. With the current champions the Naomh Padraig Ceili Band from Co. Meath not taking part this year we are guaranteed a new champion.

Programme 35: October 27th
Ceili House brings news of a new Ceili Band competition at the upcoming Ennis trad. Festival. The programme, from Ennis, Co. Clare also features the music and song of Ceoltoiri na Mainistreach and a host of local musicians and singers.

Programme 34: October 20th
Tonight's programme comes from the hometown of Joe Cooley in Peterswell, Co. Galway. There's music and song from a host of outstanding young musicians and singers and the first Ceili House appearance of the popular Galway ceili band "The Tribes". There's news, also of the upcoming Cooley/Collins festival in Gort

October 13th
There's no Ceili House as the Irish Football team play an important Euro qualifier which is transmitted on all wavelengths.

Programme 33: October 6th
Tonight's Ceili House features the musicians and singers of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann who are just about to embark on this year's Echoes of Erin tour of the United States.

Programme 32: September 29th
Another All Ireland venue features on this week's Ceili House. Annaharvey Farm on the Portarlington road just outside Tullamore is the host farm for this year's National Ploughing Championships. Music, song and chat from local musicians, singers and ploughing experts.

Programme 31: September 22nd
Ceili House travels to Strokestown in Co. Roscommon for a live programme where plans for this years Feile Frank McGann are unveiled. Music and song from John Wynne, John McEvoy and many more..

Programme 30: September 15th
All Ireland season continues with the Football final planned for Croke Park in Dublin this weekend. Kieran and the team sample the atmosphere in the capital as musicians and singers from both counties arrive for the big occasion.

There's no Ceili House as the Irish Football team play an important Euro qualifier which is transmitted on all wavelengths.

Programme 29: September 1st
Tonight's Ceili House comes from the historic Ahane GAA Club in Co. Limerick. As the atmosphere hots up on the eve of this year's All Ireland hurling final, there's great expectation as Limerick take on Kilkenny in tomorrow's final. Music song and chat from the Clohessy family, Ann Mulqueen and members of the Ahane All Ireland winning Scór champions.

Programme 28: August 25th
Tonight sees the return of Ceili House "Live" from the All Ireland Fleadh in Tullamore Co. Offaly. Kieran will be on the Gig Rig with local musicians and singers and the programme will also feature some of this year's newly crowned All Ireland Champions.

Programme 27: July 14th
The legendary accordion player Dermot O Brien died in May of this year. In Dermot's memory, tonight we hear excerpts from a 1996 Ceili House programme with Dermot a special guest. He was at home from the USA for a brief visit and joined Kieran , in studio, for a trip down memory lane. There are contributions from Ronan Collins and Jimmy Magee also.

Tonight's Ceili House comes from The Faughs GAA Club in Dublin. We meet the members of Craobh Naithi CCE who have just launched a tutorial cd on Irish traditional music based on a book of music, originally compiled by flute player Michael Tubridy. There's music and song from Craobh Naithi Ceili Band, Tomas McUilleagoid, Emma Woods, Michael Harrison, Janine Redmond and a host of others

Programme 25: June 30th
Kilcoona is a small community, just a couple of miles from Headford in Co. Galway. It's a hive of traditional music and song inspired by accordion player Matt Cunningham. On tonight's programme we hear the music of Matt and his band, Eric Cunningham, Fionnuala Deacy, Ita Cunningham, Richard Murray, Margaret Flanagan and a group of young local musicians.

Programme 24: June 23rd
Tonight's Ceili House is a tribute by local musicians and singers from Coiscéim in Sliabh Luachra to the amazing, eighty seven year old Maurice O Keefe, fiddle master and living legend of the Sliabh Luachra tradition. The venue is the Coisceim community centre and it'll be a night of great music, song and great humour. Maurice himself plays a fiddle duet with his granddaughter Eileen and box player Dan Herlihy tells of some early experiences with Maurice.

Programme 23: June 16th
Reels, Jigs, Polkas and slides abound on tonight's Ceili House. The programme comes from Newcastlewest in Co. Limerick where they're preparing for the forthcoming Munster Fleadh. Music, song, dance and chat from the West Limerick Ceili Band, Craobh Cluain Chreadhail, Gary McMahon and a host of others.

Programme 22: June 9th
Ceili House is in Co. Longford tonight. The venue is the Lough Ree Arms in Lanesboro and the occasion is the launch of this year's Lough Ree Environmental Summer School and Arts Festival in Lanesboro and Ballyleague. Among the guest musicians and singers is Rig the Jig, Noel Carberry, Michael Flynn and many others.

Programme 21: June 2nd
Tonight's Ceili House comes from the Foyle Arts Building in the University of Ulster with the Ulster University Trad. Band. There's news too of a new funding initiative between the Arts council of Northern Ireland and An Comhairle Ealaíon.

Programme 20: May 26th
The legendary Brosna Ceili Band from Co. Kerry are the featured band on tonight's Ceili House. Reels, Jigs, Polkas, Slides and songs are the order of the day. It'll be lively !!!!

Programme 19: May 19th
On tonight's Ceili House, expect a lot of Uileann piping as the programme comes from the newly refurbished headquarters of Na Píobairí Uileann on Henrietta St. in Dublin. There's also news of the upcoming Tionól which will be held in the capital at the end of the month.

May 12th
No Ceili House tonight as the Eurovision will be transmitted on all wavelengths. The best of luck to traditional group Dervish at the event.

Programme 18: May 5th
Tonight's Ceili House comes from Castletown Geoghegan in Co. Westmeath. Kieran and the team meet a group of local musicians and singers who keep the tradition alive and very well in the county. All Ireland Champion accordion player Colin Nea will also be on hand

Programme 17: April 28th
The final of three programmes from Glasgow city tonight with the Glasgow Irish Minstrels Comhaltas group who celebrate their 50th Anniversary this year. The venue is St Josephs Hall, Busby Road in Clarkston and, as you'll hear, Irish traditional music is thriving in Glasgow.

Programme 16: April 21st
We're back in Glasgow tonight for the second of three programmes from the city. We meet the St. Rocks Ceili Band who took part in the All Ireland Senior Ceili Band competition in Letterkenny in August 2006. Fiddler Katie Boyle joins flute player Mairead McManus for a delightful duet and there's a couple of songs from Jim McElhone.

Programme 15: April 14th
Tonight's Ceili House is Live from Letterkenny, Co. Donegal where there are two music festivals in full swing, Oireachtas 2007 and the Pan Celtic. News from both events with music and song from the prize winners of Oireachtas 2007.

Programme 14: April 7th
Ceili House travels to Glasgow in Scotland for tonight's programme. It's the first of three programmes recorded in Glasgow which will be transmitted during the month of April. Our first programme features the Four Provinces Ceili Band, a group led by local fiddler Benny McHugh. There's a couple of tunes from flute player Frances Morton and a brace of songs from Derry native, Kevin Mitchell.

Programme 13: March 31st
The students of Coláiste Mhuire in Marino, in Dublin are the featured guests on tonight's Céilí House. With many outstanding young student teachers playing Irish traditional music and song from across the country, they take a little time out before their exams to play on the programme.

Programme 12: March 24th
Céilí House travels to Co. Sligo and a venue called The Border Collie. It features the hugely entertaining and talented traditional group The Border Collies.

Programme 11: March 17th
It's a gala night on Ceilí House on this St. Patrick's Day. With an earlier start time of 8pm the programme comes from the National Concert Hall in Dublin. Billed as "Céilí House in Concert", the show features Liz and Yvonne Keane, Andy Irvine, Fiachna O Mongáin, Eilis Ní Chonghaile, Sean nós dancers, O Cuinneagáin family and the Dublin Blue Stars Ceili Band.

Programme 10: March 10th
Kieran Hanrahan meets the students of Trinity College, Dublin on tonight's Céilí House. With uileann piper, Eanna O Croinin, sean nós singer and fiddle player, Roisin Chambers and many more outstanding young performers who are students at the College.

Programme 9: March 3rd
Mayo based Irish traditional group Céide are the guests on tonight's Ceili House. The programme was recorded in the quiet village of Newport, Co. Mayo where the group meet regularly for sessions and rehearsals.

Programme 8: February 24th
Ceili House returns to Corofin in Co. Clare for music and song and details of the forthcoming Corofin Trad Festival which takes place on the first week end of March. One of the themes of this year's festival is the music of local families including the O Reillys, the Healys and others and we get a flavour of this on tonight's programme.

Programme 7: February 17th
O Connor's in Doolin Co. Clare is the venue for the programme tonight. There have been many great recordings made at this historic North Clare venue over the years going back to the 1950's when Ciaran McMathuna recorded the Russell brothers first. On tonight's programme there's music and song from those who now play regularly in O Connors with flute player Noel O Donoghue leading the house band. There's news too of the upcoming Micho Russell memorial week end in Doolin.

Programme 6: February 10th
Tonight's Ceili House was recorded in Gleann na Coille, a house perched on the Dublin hills, overlooking the city and the home of the Moynagh family. It's also the rehearsal venue for the Leinster Senior Ceili Band champions of 2006, aptly named Gleann na Coille.

Programme 5: February 3rd
Highlights of the year 2006 with some of the music and song that didn't make it to air during last year's series. There were many memorable performances.

Programme 4: January 27th
Tonight's Ceili House features more of the outstanding young musicians and singers from the 2006 Bloom of Youth series on RTE Radio 1. Among those on the programme is Donegal piano box player Martin Tourish, Clare concertina player Sharon O Leary and Tipperary Fiddle player Michael Harrison.

Programme 3: January 20th
Tonight's programme features some of the finest young traditional musicians and singers who took part in the Bloom of Youth series on RTE Radio during the Summers of 2005 and 2006.

Programme 2: January 13th
Ceili House returns to Dolan's on the Dock rd. on Limerick city to meet some of the many musicians and singers who play in the popular Limerick venue. Music and song from the Clohessy family, the O Dalaighs, Donal O Connor, Sarah Dolan, Mickey and Niamh Dunne, Eoin Coughlan and Elaine Cormican.

Programme 1: January 6th
Tonight Ceili House comes from the annual house dance at the home of Antoin and Bernie McGabhann in Baltrasna, Co. Meath. This is always a lively affair with about forty musicians and forty dancers crammed into the front room and kitchen of McGabhanns. There's a great sense of excitement high spirits as Ceili House welcomes the new year. A mighty night always.
