Arena Wednesday 23 April 2014

coming up on Monday's show....a garda station in an Irish border village at the end of the 1950's is the setting for the Shane Connaughton novel "Married Quarters", the atmospheric folk music of Maria Kelly live in session and Gerard Manley Hopkins and five nuns are shipwrecked - it sounds like the start of a joke but it's actually the premise of the comic novel "The Hopkins Conundrum" by Simon Edge
