Benjamin Black - The Black Eyed Blonde
Benjamin Black is the crime writing alter-ego of John Banville. Banville is regarded as one of Ireland's finest novelists. The Black Eyed Blonde is a novel featuring Raymond Chandler's creation Philip Marlowe, a private eye who worked in Los Angeles during the 1940s and 1950s and John joined Seán in studio.
Fire Station Studios
The Fire station was set up 21 years ago in the North East inner city of Dublin and subsidised residential studios that provide self-contained, secure living and working spaces for professional visual artists. Evelyn O'Rourke went along to see the studios and she met with Clodagh Kenny.
