    Monday's programme will be a public interview with acclaimed author Martin Amis, recorded in front of a live audience at the recent  'Mountains to Sea' book festival

    Winter by Christopher Nicholson

    Yvonne Nolan reviews the new novel by Christopher Nicholson.

    Winter is the third novel from Costa Prize-nominated author Christopher Nicholson. It tells the story of the writer Thomas Hardy’s infatuation with a young actress in the final years of his life. This is a fictionalised story about Thomas Hardy but it’s based on a true story.
