Arena With Seán Rocks

    Monday - Friday 7-8pm

on Friday's programme we took a look at the issue of ageing and facing our mortality in the arts. What types of artistic expression do people take comfort in as they age? And are their particular works we can turn to to help us face our own mortality? Panelists were  the poet Nuala Ní Chonchúir, playwright Shaun Dunne, author Michele Forbes and music broadcaster Bernard Clarke.

on Easter Monday Arena celebrates this year's One City One Book with an evening of poetry and song. 'If Ever You Go: A Map of Dublin in Poetry and Song" is a collection of poems, ballads and songs about Dublin. Panellists including RTÉ 2fm DJ Rick O'Shea, actor Phelim Drew, musicians Lisa Hannigan and Colin Reid, poets Pat Boran, Melissa Kavanagh and Enda Wyley explain what Dublin means to them.
