Buildings are something which surround us everywhere, everyday. But how often do we look at them in detail and understand them, their history and their place?

'The Architect's Eye' was an eight part series originally broadcast in February 2007. The aim of the series was to look at various buildings around Ireland through the eyes of an architect. Now, 'The Architect's Eye' returns for a second series.

In this new 6 part series, the buildings to be examined through the eyes of various architects include the Crumlin Road Complex in Belfast, Fingal County Offices in Dublin, the town wall in Fethard, Co. Tipperary and Fota House in Cork.

COMPETITION:
In conjunction with The Architect's Eye, the Irish Landmark Trust are giving away an end of series prize of a weekend away (off season) for two people in any of the Irish Landmark Trust building**.

All you have to do to enter and be in with a chance to win is  - Nominate your favourite building in Ireland and in no more than 100 words, tell us why it's your favorite Irish building.
