DAB Trial Transmissions:
To coincide with our 80th anniversary, we have launched a trial DAB service in Dublin and the North East. The service is on Multiplex 12 C. The radio channels that are available at the moment are:-

RTÉ Radio 1
RTÉ 2 FM
RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta
RTÉ Lyric FM
TodayFm
WRN (English)

Please note this is a 3 month trial transmission.

At a later date we hope to extend the service to the remainder of the country.

Recent VHF Frequency Updates:
The Cairn Hill VHF Radio transmitter in now on air on frequency: R1 89.8

The frequencies of the Athlone VHF Transmitter have been changed recently as follows: R1 89.3 R2 91.5

There have been frequency changes at the Castlebar and Achill VHF Radio Transmitters as follows:

New Castlebar frequencies are R1 89.3 R2 91.5 RnaG 93.7 Lyric 98.9

New Achill frequencies are R1 89.9 R2 92.1 RnaG 94.3 Lyric 99.5
