The Mystery Train is a
musical journey like no other. This hugely popular and critically
acclaimed programme has become essential listening for music fans
and musicians alike. The Friday night programme has now been
extended to two hours.
Mixing the best of contemporary music with the rest of the
century's hits, this is quite simply one of the most enjoyed and
respected music programmes around. Soul, jazz, r'n'b, funk, pop,
doo-wop, trad, world, swing, bop, blues, bluegrass, cajun, rock 'n
roll, mambo and just about everything else can be heard on the
programme every weekday night beginning at
8.02p.m.

John Kelly is a Sony Award winning
broadcaster, who joined RTÉ in 1999. He also presents the
