Brenda Donohue reports on a very unusual 2013 calendar just launched by the Coombe Hospital.
And one lucky listener will win a luxury weekend in Northern Ireland... in Mooney's Tuesday Quiz!
Is The Customer Always Right?
A Dublin restaurant made the news recently by calling one complaining customer an a******. The row took place between Cinnamon restaurant and one of it's customers, who complained on Twitter that he had to wait forty minutes for being served. The restaurant has since apologised for the tweet, but it begs the question - is the customer always right? Katriona McFadden hits the shops and stores of Sandymount to find out, and Senator Fergal Quinn also joins in the chat...
In every month of 2011, nearly 800 women in Ireland started their own businesses, according to the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor report, and many of them were mumpreneurs.
Sometimes referred to as ‘kitchen table entrepreneurs’, more and more women are now designing and running online businesses, pursuing niche retail opportunities, or developing unique service industries from home, from marketing and accountancy, to designer dress hire.
Last week, Brenda attended a seminar in Dublin given by and for mumpreneurs.

How Is Ireland Changing?
Marty reports back from the Dunloe Horse Fair, then is joined in studio by Billy Keane, son of John B. Keane, and by Trevor White, Director, of the The Little Museum of Dublin (15, St Stephen's Green, Dublin 2 or visit www.littlemuseum.ie).
Trevor is behind an initiative called "City Of A Thousand Welcomes". This initiative is all about getting Dubliners to meet somebody visiting the city, to take them for a cup of tea, to tell them a little about your personal experience of the city, to make recommendations as a resident of Dublin. As part of this initiative, one of the bosses of Twitter was brought on a type of "pub crawl", where he was able to discover Dublin. There followed a massive investment by Twitter in Dublin. There was a headline in one of the newspapers following this investment: "Friendliness Factor Swings It for Dublin". The Twitter bosses were very definite in saying how much the friendliness of the city and ease of doing business here contributed to their investment.
He has also launched an interesting competition called "Uniquely Dublin", along with Dublin City Council, Tourism Ireland and Dublin Bus. The competition invites artists, writers, photographers and filmmakers from all over the world to celebrate Dublin. There is a cash prize of €10,000 for the winner, the deadline is January 28th and the winning entries will be exhibited throughout the city in the spring. For more information about the competition, click here.
