The Seagull and The Heron
Here in the RTÉ Radio Centre, the Mooney team have been lucky enough to catch not one but two unusual sights on the lawn outside our windows this week...
On Tuesday and Wednesday, a seagull swooped down, landed on the grass and started doing a sort of tap dance! Derek explained to his bemused colleagues that the seagull was trying to imitate the rain falling, and so encourage the worms in the ground to come to the surface! And then on Thursday, we glanced out of the window to see a large heron strutting around on the lawn! We managed to get a couple of photos before it flew off to rest on the chimneys of the houses opposite. Click here to see the photos.
