Dan Tani - NASA Astronaut

It is now day 29 for the 33 miners in Chile who have been trapped nearly 700 metres below the earth… but it may be Christmas before the men are actually rescued.

Psychologists from NASA have been advising rescuers on how to assist the miners with their ordeal. What kind of advise will they be giving them?

Dan Tani is a man who has had plenty of coaching from NASA psychologists, and plenty of experience spending time in small spaces.

He joins Derek on the line.

Shark Facts - Ali Hood
If you were watching the TV news today, you might have seen an amazing report about a shark feeding frenzy off the coast of southern Queensland in Australia. Large numbers of Tiger sharks were filmed from a helicopter, zooming into huge schools of smaller fish.

They were terrific pictures and gave a great idea of the scale of shark feeding frenzies.

Ali Hood joins Derek on the line to talk that and Basking sharks around Ireland.
