RTÉ Radio Worldwide

RTÉ provides extensive service to Europe. In Ireland listeners are served by the VHF FM Network and LW 252 kHz.

RTÉ Radio 1 programmes on LW 252 can be received in most of Britain.

Western parts of mainland Europe receive LW 252 with variable success.

Our four channels are available 24 hours daily on the internet.

Coverage is available 24 hours daily on various satellites. You need a digital TV receiving system, but the channels are free to air, without subscription.
