Celebrating the bicentenary of the Royal Philharmonic Society in London, today’s live performance begins with Mendelssohn’s Overture to a Midsummer Night’s Dream and later a chance to hear Dvorák’s hidden gem of a Violin Concerto in A minor with the Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Tugan Sokhiev with soloist Akiko Suwanai.

Aedín’s featured musician is French soprano Veronique Gens performing Pastorale from  Canteloube’s Songs of the Auvergne and the Sull Aria from Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro.
