In 1994, once again RTÉ hosted the Eurovision Song Contest from Dublin. The winner was Ireland's 'Rock and Roll Kids' but it was the interval act 'Riverdance' that caught the world's attention performed by Jean Butler and Michael Flatley. It received a standing ovation and spawned the show which went on to major worldwide success. First Broadcast: 30/04/1994
