How to Join
The RTÉ Philharmonic Choir holds auditions for new members annually, usually during May, held in the Dublin area. Extra audition days are sometimes organised at other times during the Season if there are requirements for a particular voice type - good tenors are always needed!
You must be free to rehearse regularly on Wednesday evenings during the Season, plus extra commitments on concert weeks and occasional workshop Saturdays. A good level of sight-reading is very helpful as the schedule is demanding but hugely rewarding.
