RTÉ MUSIC COMMISSIONS
RTÉ has engaged with Irish and Irish-resident composers in the creation of a very significant volume of new music for performance by its orchestras and groups over several decades. Both the Performing Groups and lyric fm have been the prime drivers of this process of creating new music by and for Irish musicians. This site is now where commissioning opportunities from both areas of RTÉ will be shared and promoted.
RTÉ Performing Groups Music Commissions
The RTÉ Performing Groups invites composers to apply to be considered for a music commission for the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, RTÉ Vanbrugh Quartet, RTÉ Philharmonic Choir or RTÉ Cór na nÓg.
