To close the festival, a programme featuring one of Pärt's most famous 'tintinnabuli' works, Tabula Rasa, with Ian Humphries and Darragh Morgan of the Smith Quartet, the world première of a work by Irish composer David Fennessy specially commissioned for the festival, and the Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten, Pärt's beautiful lament for one of the last century's greatest composers.
