Celine Byrne, Regina Nathan and Cara O'Sullivan, three of Ireland's foremost sopranos, share the stage for the first time on Wednesday 21 December for matinee and evening performances of The Three Sopranos Christmas Gala presented by the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra in association with The John Murray Show, RTÉ Radio 1. Both performances will be presented by RTÉ Radio 1 presenter, John Murray. The programme will include favourite operatic arias and ensemble pieces, seasonal carols, sacred and Christmas songs, festive orchestral music, and a performance of The Night before Christmas narrated by actor and comedian, Risteárd Cooper. Programme highlights include the Jewel Song, Rusalka's Song to the Moon, Un bel dì vedremo, Brindisi from La traviata, duets from Lakmé and The Marriage of Figaro, Christmas favourites Joy to the World and O Holy Night and orchestral music including Leroy Anderson's festive Christmas Festival.
