The famous 'burning-fuse' signature tune to Mission: Impossible is one of the most iconic TV themes of all time. The RTÉ Concert Orchestra is proud to present its creator, Lalo Schifrin, in his first ever Irish performance.

One of the most significant contributors to film and TV music of the past 40 years, Lalo Schifrin has to date received four Grammy Awards and six Oscar nominations. He can switch musical gears with ease, whether playing jazz with Dizzy Gillespie or composing a classical piece for the Sultan of Oman, and his stylish, atmospheric scores are an essential element of classics like Bullitt, Mannix, The Cincinnati Kid, Enter the Dragon, Dirty Harry and of course Mission: Impossible.

He joins the RTÉ Concert Orchestra as both pianist and conductor for an evening of remarkable film and TV music.
