Founder-member of the legendary band Deep Purple and acclaimed keyboardist Jon Lord joins the RTÉ Concert Orchestra for one night only. Hear his Concerto for Group and Orchestra, one of the finest and earliest collaborations for band and orchestra, on the 40th anniversary of its first performance, as well as other original Jon Lord compositions and classic Deep Purple songs such as Child In Time.
Hear him interviewed during rehearsals with the RTÉ CO in the Morning Ireland report 'Deep Purple goes classical'.
