COOL AIR HEIGHTS
Beethoven's violin concerto - from the opening prophetic notes on the timpani to the sublime Romance and dancing finale stands as one of the greatest of all concertos.
Then scale an Alpine mountain with Strauss' breathtaking music. A waterfall, a storm, blinding rain, mists and panoramas - the mountain in all its moods is captured, conducted by Gerhard Markson, himself a keen Alpine hiker.
