Internationally renowned soprano Lesley Garrett has been variously described as 'phenomenal' (The Independent) and a 'true star' (Daily Express). She joins the RTÉ Concert Orchestra for a gala evening with a programme of opera and classical favourites and songs from her recent album When I Fall in Love. Renowned for her unique talents, which cover opera, television, radio, concerts and the West End, Lesley has starred recently in The Sound of Music as the Mother Abbess, appeared on television in Strictly Come Dancing, Loose Women and Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, sung with English National and Welsh National Opera and continues to delight listeners on Classic FM with her weekly radio show.
