Operation Transformation Groups
THE VILLAGE PEOPLE - AGLISH CO. TIPPERARY
In Aglish, Co. Tipperary, a small committee came together to refurbish an old abandoned school. But, those committee meetings were leading to bad habits, so they decided to start an Operation Transformation group to get them in tip top shape in the new year. What started out as a small group has quickly taken over the whole Village.
Become a part of the Operation Transformation team at home, by setting up a group with your friends, family, co-workers, neighbours, club members, or anyone you'd like to involve.
1.) Download the Group Application Form. Get everyone in the group to fill out their individual part, and email it back, along with a group photo to: ot@rte.ie
2.) Choose one day each week to do a weekly weigh-in. Monday is best, as you can update the show through our email on your progress, before the show goes out on Wednesday.
3.) After watching the first episode of Operation Transformation (4th January 2012 at 8pm on RTÉ 1) each member of the group should choose one of the 5 Leaders for them to
follow. Then log onto www.rte.ie/ot to get their Diet and Exercise Plans to follow at home.
4.) Ensure that the weekly weigh-in occurs with the same weighing scales and that everyone is present during the event.
5.) Download and print the Operation Transformation Group Weight Loss Chart so you can keep track of the group's progress.
6.) Make a short video of your group using a smart-phone. Get the group to shout out (a) the name of the group, (b) the total weight of the group at the time of making the video, and (c) the phrase "We love OperationTransformation!". Email your video to: ot@rte.ie
7.) Keep us updated on your progress, and you never know Operation Transformation may come and film you!
