Section Leader Oboe

Candidates are required to perform:
The first movement of Mozart's Oboe Concerto in C, K314

AND

A contrasting piece or movement of their own choice.

AND

They will also be expected to prepare the following downloadable excerpts: RTE NSO Section Leader Oboe audition excerpts

In addition to this the candidate will be expected to read at sight from the orchestral repertoire.

Or
The first movement of W. A. Mozart Concerto No. 4 for Violin and Orchestra in D Major K.218
Or
The first movement of W. A. Mozart Concerto No. 5 for Violin and Orchestra in A Major K.219

And
One movement of a contrasting romantic concerto or contemporary piece of your own choice.

An accompanist will be provided.

A contrasting piece of your own choice. Unaccompanied works by J.S. Bach are acceptable.
