World-renowned Irish mezzo-soprano Patricia Bardon will head a stellar cast in the RTÉ Concert Orchestra's presentation of Carmen in Concert. Joining Bardon in an exciting world-class line-up is Gwyn Hughes Jones as Don José, Sarah Fox as Micaela and Zoltán Nagy as Escamillo. The concert performance of Bizet's masterpiece, one of the best-loved of all operas, will be sung in French and conducted by RTÉ CO Principal Conductor John Wilson.

Against the back-drop of the heat and dust of Spain, the sensual and captivating Carmen seduces the helpless Don José with devastating consequences.

Georges Bizet's Carmen is an unforgettable tragedy set to one of opera's best-known and most colourful scores, infused with the pulsing sensuality of gypsy and Spanish-influenced melodies.

Tickets: €15-€40 (conc. €13-€36)
Booking: 01 417 0000 or online.
No booking fees apply. 10% discount for groups of 10 or more.
