ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
ASSOCIATE ARTIST FINGHIN COLLINS' FINAL BEETHOVEN PROGRAMME features the exhilarating ingenuity and captivating melodic invention of the Fourth Piano Concerto, whose voluptuous second movement Liszt memorably described as 'Orpheus taming the wild beasts'.

The majestic Coriolan Overture offers up a clenched fist of emotion and high drama, and The Guinness Choir and a sextet of soloists join us for the sublime Choral Fantasy, where piano, voice and orchestra combine with muscularity and musicality.

Post-concert talk with the performers in the John Field Room
