MARCHING TOWARDS HOPE AND HAPPINESS
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

PIANIST/CONDUCTOR HOWARD SHELLEY MAKES A WELCOME RETURN for three works full to the brim with youthful dreams of adventure and love.

Described by the composer as 'shameless in its rude good health', Elgar's tune-filled Froissart Overture is a sumptuous romance of knightly endeavours, while Schumann and Tchaikovsky provide two of the greatest expressions of musical Romanticism: the Piano Concerto joyfully dynamic and spontaneous, the Fourth Symphony an emotional tour de force that blazes with passion.

Tickets: €10, €18, €24, €30, €35 (concessions €9, €16, €22, €27, €32)
Booking (no fees): 01 417 0000 or ONLINE
