Indulge in the delicacy and drama of French music at its vibrant best, with the young Irish cellist Brian O'Kane making his RTÉ NSO debut in Saint-Saëns' compelling First Cello Concerto. Add in the magnificent pomp of Charpentier's Prelude (the thrilling signature tune of the European Broadcasting Union), Debussy's gorgeous and playful Petite Suite and hypnotically beautiful Clair de Lune, and Offenbach's deliciously naughty Can Can ¬- and be transported to La belle Française at its most irresistible
