Big Fish set to close Cork office

Games company Big Fish is set to close its Cork facility, which employs 89 staff.

Chief executive Paul Thelen said Seattle-based Big Fish needed to realign its resources.

He said it would be "increasing investment in the areas that are growing or profitable and eliminating investment in areas that are not on a path to success".

"We are proposing to close our facility in Cork, subject to a 30-day consultation that we are entering into with employees," he said.
