    Part-time courses in design and dressmaking are proving popular - particularly among women - as money gets tighter. We met some of them at Ireland's oldest fashion school, the Grafton Academy.

    The 30th Dublin City Marathon takes place on Monday 26 October. There's a record entry of more than 12,000.  In this report, meet a man and a woman tackling the 26.2 mile distance for the first time.
