US pharmaceutical firm Perrigo to move some functions to IrelandFriday 19 February 2016 17.52
US pharmaceutical firm Perrigo has announced that a number of its key public facing corporate functions will be relocated to Ireland as part of the company's international growth strategy.
A number of jobs will also be created at the company’s Dublin headquarters across a range of corporate functions, including supply chain/global operations, procurement, enterprise risk management, corporate finance, and IT.
Perrigo, which makes over-the-counter pharmaceutical products, said it had identified Ireland as a gateway for its expansion into Europe.
As part of this latest expansion here, Arthur Shannon will relocate to Ireland in April and assume the role of Vice President of Global Corporate Affairs and European Investor Relations.
Mr Shannon will continue to oversee both internal and external Global Communications for Perrigo.
He will be responsible for establishing a global government relations base from Dublin and expanding Perrigo's shareholder focused Investor Relations programmes across Europe.
