The High Court will hear applications in relation to businessman Denis O'Brien's action against PR and lobbying firm Red Flag Consulting on Friday.

Both sides were in court today and Mr Justice Colm Mac Eochaidh was told they had yet to agree on dates for exchanging legal documents.

Mr O'Brien alleges Red Flag and some of its executives are involved in a conspiracy to damage him professionally and personally.

Mr Justice Mac Eochaidh is hearing an action before a jury and said he did not consider the matter urgent and would not interrupt the jury trial to hold a case management hearing.

He said he would hear it on Friday morning.

The court heard both sides hoped they could reach agreement on the exchange of documents by Friday.
