Calor has announced funding of €10m from its parent company SHV Energy Group for an investment programme for the company's all-island operations.

Calor is the leading supplier of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in Ireland.

The investment will see the creation of 13 new jobs at the firm, which employs over 250 staff in six sites located on the island of Ireland. The company also indirectly employs 200 people. 

The company said the investment will target improvements in sales, customer supports, engineering, It and marketing.

Its parent company SHV Energy operates in 27 countries and supplies LPG to millions of customers worldwide.
