Sheology has said that its women-focused websites have now passed the one million monthly Irish unique visitor numbers mark.

Sheology is home to three Irish sites - MummyPages.ie, MagicMum.com and SHEmazing.net. It also has another million unique visitors to its MummyPages.co.uk site, bringing their total online female reach to 2 million in the UK and Ireland.

The company was founded by husband and wife team Sandra and Cormac McKenna in 2009.

Last December, the company revealed details of its three year expansion strategy which plans to focus on new markets and product development.

Over the next three years, it also plans to employ 30 more people in marketing, editorial and tech roles with ten of these positions already filled since the start of the year.

It is also looking ahead with plans to add new properties to their growing portfolio and further develop market opportunities in overseas markets.
