A Belfast IT firm has announced the creation of 50 new jobs.

The high quality posts are part of an investment by Novosco, which provides cloud and data centre services to clients across Britain and Ireland from its base at the Northern Ireland Science Park at Queen's Island.

Enterprise minister Arlene Foster said the new positions would contribute almost £2 million a year to the economy.

Invest NI has offered the firm more than £624,000 to support the new jobs.

The funding, which will also underpin staff training programmes, is part of the IT firm's overall £4.1 million investment.
