Ryanair is set to open its third Portuguese base at Lisbon next April.

The airline said it would base one plane at Lisbon and also announced four new routes from the airport to Dole, Manchester, Marseille and Pisa.

Ryanair's chief commercial officer David O'Brien said that the airline is looking forward to working with Lisbon Airport "to unlock the vast potential currently suppressed by high access air costs".

The new flights will be available for sale from tomorrow.
