Keohane’s of Bantry in Co Cork has secured a deal to supply two of its Irish fish dishes to Tesco stores in the UK.

The deal, which is worth about £1.3m a year, will result in the creation of four new jobs and will help support 40 jobs at the company's processing plant in Co. Cork.

Keohane Seafoods will supply Tesco UK with two frozen products, cod with chilli ginger and lime and haddock with lemon and cracked black pepper butter.

Colman Keohane, the managing director of the family-run business, said he was very happy at the chance to expand the company's reach into the UK.
