Japanese technology firm Fujitsu is to create 192 jobs in Co Derry as part of a £12 million (€14m) investment.

The company plans to create a Business Services Centre at its Timber Quay facility, with the new jobs set to come on stream over the next three years.

Fujitsu already employs around 800 people in counties Derry and Antrim.

The planned investment includes £990,000 of support from Invest Northern Ireland, while the majority of the new positions announced will be full-time roles.

The positions will be in areas including finance, human resources and administration.

Recruitment is set to begin early next year.
