IBM has completed its acquisition of Irish analytics company The Now Factory.

The company’s software helps communications firms to better understand the way data is used across their networks.

IBM, which announced its planned acquisition of The Now Factory earlier at the start of the month, says it will integrate this function into its ‘Big Data Platform’.

“the combination of IBM and The Now Factory will further extend advanced real-time big data and analytics capabilities to help clients uncover new revenue opportunities in the burgeoning mobile marketplace,” said Bob Picciano, general manager of Information Management at IBM Software.
