Patrick Joy was named Ireland's Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the year last night. He is the founder and chief executive of Suretank group based in Dunleer Co Louth.
The company is the world's biggest maker of cargo-carrying units for the offshore oil and gas industry.
It started with 14 employees in 1995, now employs 600 and has offices around the world.
It generates annual revenues of almost €70 million.
