An Irish-owned firm has won a €16m contract at Abu Dhabi's new airport and will recruit up to 70 employees to work there.
Kelly Steel Engineering is to build a 3,500 tonne baggage handling facility at the airport.
Kelly Steel managing director John O'Kelly says many of the new recruits will be Irish.
Work is due to begin next year.
The firm says the new project will allow them significantly boost their 230-strong workforce - 18 of whom are Irish.
