Management at a Co Waterford call centre have said they will not comment on reports of possible job losses at their company.
Rigney Dolphin employs around a thousand people in three offices - Waterford, Dublin and Dundalk.
In a statement to RTÉ, Helen Kiely, a director of the company, said they will not be commenting on reports that 130 jobs could be under threat at its facility on the IDA industrial estate in Waterford.
She did confirm that an existing client contract is moving to another provider based in Co Cork and that this has had an impact on job numbers in Rigney Dolphin, however she did not say to what extent.
Ms Kiely said the company had been engaged in productive discussions with their employees over a number of months about offering opportunities elsewhere in their Waterford centre, where possible, for those who are not in a position to transfer to the new provider in Cork.
She also said the company is currently recruiting for a large number of short-term temporary contract positions and is working closely with local businesses, including Talk Talk, to provide employment opportunities within the group.
