DRG announces plan for 20 new jobsTuesday 30 August 2011 13.07
Mobile services company Digital Reach Group has announced plans to create 20 new jobs as part of an expansion of its operations into the US.
In a statement, DRG said that it had been acquired by Take 5 Solutions LLC, a Florida-based marketing company, for a combination of cash and equity in Take 5.
The jobs will be based in DRG’s existing Dublin offices.
‘The synergies between both businesses are ideal,’ said DRG CEO Colm Grealy.
‘Combined, we are in an extremely strong position to offer complimentary services to companies in the US looking for highly targeted marketing solutions across multiple channels.’
As part of the acquisition, Mr Grealy will join the board of Take 5.
DRG has worked with a number of high-profile clients, including RTÉ, for which it was a development partner in relation to the RTÉ News Now app for iPhone, Android and iPad. The company also provides mobile advertising services to RTÉ.
The company is backed by private investment company Pageant Holdings.
DRG was established in September 2009 and comprises two divisions: Digital Reach and Adforce.ie.
Meanwhile, Argos has launched its Christmas recruitment campaign and will be filling 800 seasonal positions.
