A Belfast IT company is to create almost 100 new highly-skilled jobs. Parity is to establish a Microsoft centre of excellence with software development and consultancy positions to be filled over the next three years.
It will be the first such centre in Ireland and Britain. It will provide internet-based business productivity packages for customers and will employ 94 new staff. The company has headquarters in London and currently employs 65 at its Dargan Road office on the Belfast harbour estate.
Invest NI is putting £630,000 into the project. Parity specialises in IT recruitment, especially for the public sector.
It has clients across the UK and Ireland, including Bord Bia, BT, the British Ministry of Defence and Northern Ireland Electricity. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange, and has a turnover of around £150m.
