A Dublin company which develops display technology has raised $9.5m in funding.
NTERA, founded in UCD in 1997, has developed NanoChromics, which uses nanotechnology to develop displays for use in items such as clocks and meters.
The new funds will be used to beef up its sales and marketing operations and to enable commercial production of displays at its facilities in Dublin and Taiwan.
Today's funding round is being led by London-based private equity fund Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures, with existing shareholders also participating.
