Thomas Crosbie Holdings buy Nationalist titles

Thomas Crosbie Holdings, the owners of the Irish Examiner - have announced that they have acquired three local newspapers to add to their stable - the Nationalist and Leinster Times, the Kildare Nationalist and the Laois Nationalist.

The titles have a readership of 70,000, with a combined weekly circulation of 17,000.

THC already owns among others the Waterford News and Star, the Western People, the Sligo Weekender and the Newry Down and Democrat.
