Motorcyclist dies after his bike collides with car

A man, aged in his early 30s, has died after the motorcycle he was travelling on collided with a car in Co Meath this afternoon.

Gardaí said the crash occurred at Warrenstown, on the Trim Road, shortly before 4.30pm.

The man was the sole occupant of the motorbike. 

His body was taken to Our Lady's Hospital, Navan, where a post mortem will take place.

The occupants of the car were not injured.

The road at Warrenstown was closed earlier for a forensic examination.
