Consulting firm Accenture is expanding its presence in Ireland and expects to hire up to 250 extra staff by the end of this year.
The jobs include roles for software developers, data scientists and online advertising professionals.
The jobs come on top of 200 already announced by the company in September.
Alastair Blair, Accenture's managing director in Ireland, said the company was recruiting to meet client demand which was fuelled by the economic growth it had seen last year and which it expects to continue over the year ahead.
"We are a truly global company and we are working to attract people to Ireland and to encourage those who have emigrated to return," he added.
